Annual General Meeting 2008/2009

The Annual General Meeting of the Michaelian Chinese Orchestra for the term 2008/2009 was held on Friday, the 31st of July 2009 at the lecture theater of St. Michael's Institution, Ipoh. After a series of reports and speeches,the exco board of the term officially handed over their positions to the new upcoming board for the term 2009/2010.

A farewell and all the best to their to the outgoing board for a job well done and good luck to the new board for their future undertakings.

    Dear everyone,

    Just for your information, the message by Dr.Hiew Hieon Onn posted on the blog was read by the then President of MCO 1997/1998, Mas. Saw Horng Yuan as an opening speech in conjuction with the Inter-School Chinese Instrument Ensemble Competition 2002 held in Taman Budaya, Ipoh.

    This message really bring back some memory to us as we contacted Dr. Hiew for his speech.

    We really hope that the current EXCO can bring back fame to MCO, and please be proud of yourself as a part of this very special musical group where a lot of leadership and communication skills u can learn from, despite of some problems that you all are facing.

    All the best in your venturing in the world of chinese orchestra.
